Adrian Deniz Olenchek, of Cambridge, died "without explanation" on Sunday, June 18 at only 18 months old, according to his obituary.

"I am horrified," wrote Adrian's father, Noah. "Nothing has ever made me happier than being Adrian's dad. This picture I took yesterday morning at breakfast is the last one I have of him - I will remember and honor his smiling face for the rest of my life."

The one-year-old is remembered, in part, for the impact he had on others. He made everyone he met "unboundedly happy," his obituary said.

He loved Hot Wheels, animals, toy airplanes, broccoli, cheese, and tickle fights, and always stopped to smell the flowers on the way to and from daycare. He especially loved tulips.

"He loved socializing with people and brought his sunshine to all he interacted with," reads his obituary. "He loved everyone endlessly and let them feel his warmth through many hugs and kisses, and his incomparable beaming smile."

His parents, Ipek and Noah Olenchek, have been met with a wave of support in the form of hundreds of people contributing money and words of support to two GoFundMe campaigns.

One of the fundraisers was created by JAMI Rock and Roll Daycare. The campaign's description said that the daycare team developed a strong bond with Adrian while he was a student at the daycare.

"Ipek and Noah Olenchek, his loved ones, are undoubtedly facing an incredibly challenging time," reads one GoFundMe campaign description. "We want to support them in any way we can, which is why we are raising funds to offer our assistance. Our hearts ache for their loss."

The two fundraisers garnered over $42,000 in only three days.

"Adrian was truly one of the happiest and smiliest kids that I´ve ever met," reads one message on his tribute wall. "His ability to brighten a room was unlike any other, and it was clear how much he loved his parents and how much they loved him. His memory as a force of pure good and positivity will live on in his parents, and in everyone that had the privilege of meeting him."

A private memorial service will be held for Adrian at Rogers Funeral Home in Cambridge.
